Louis Vuitton Exhibit Series 3: London

London has many great exhibits and museums to offer in the world of fashion and textiles. This past weekend, I decided to make my way to  to experience the . Let’s just say the exhibit was absolutely mind blowing. The Louis Vuitton exhibition demonstrates  inspiration behind the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2015 Collection. Nicolas Ghesquière is the Art Director for Louis Vuitton and the creative genius behind this amazing exhibition.

As you enter the exhibition, you really feel as if you are at a real life fashion show. The exhibition takes you through the inspiration behind the line, the production and the actual collection, all in a very unique and creative way. The exhibition also includes a “Walk-in Closet” of the collection where you are actually able to touch each article of clothing. I found this room particularly interesting. It was really amazing to be able to touch each piece of clothing and see the up-close detail. The artisan’s room was another highlight for me. In this room, you are able to see artisan’s craftsmanship that goes into each handbag at Louis Vuitton. The amount of intricate detail is unbelievable and really allows you to have a full appreciation of the quality and to understand the value.

This exhibition was inspiring and I enjoyed the futuristic approach in showcasing the collection.

This exhibition is open to the public from Septembers 21^st until October 18^th 2015. The best part is that this incredible exhibition is free; you are also able to  to avoid waiting. For anyone visiting London during this time, this exhibition is an absolute must!
