Materials Interest Group Meeting: Digitizing Haptics (Handfeel) of Textiles

February 19, 2026

February 19, 2026, 2:00PM – 3:30 PM EST, Virtual

The textile industry can now digitize haptics (handfeel) with the same clarity and confidence we’ve long had for color. Imagine being able to communicate softness, surface smoothness, flexibility, and crumpability with objective precision, just like we digitized the color space with measurements of a*, b* and L*. This breakthrough is reshaping how brands and suppliers collaborate, develop products, and make decisions.

Join us for a dynamic, forward‑looking conversation designed for innovators, creators, and anyone obsessed with elevating textile communication. Instead of diving into the technical mechanics, we’ll focus on the real‑world impact: how digitized haptics empowers suppliers and buyers to work faster, smarter, and with far less guesswork.

Learn about the next major tool in textile technology, this is the webinar you don&/aatcc-events/mig22126/8217;t want to miss.
